Shadow And Bone, an upcoming fantasy television series is building popularity these days. The show is yet to release on the worldwide famous streaming platform, Netflix, and yet the fans are speculating about the show’s future. It is said that the series will be going to be the biggest Netflix show of the year.
Shadow and Bone is created by Eric Heisserer and is based on Grishaverse Series by Leigh Bardugo. The series is adapted from two books of the Grishaverse, Shadow and Bone (Grisha Trilogy) and Six of Crows (Duology).
Although the books belong to the same universe, they incorporate a different storyline. It was commissioned in 2019, shooting was finished by 2020 and the show’s first season will be released by April 2021.

If the news is true and Netflix is going forward with the second season before the first is on air. As of now, Jessie Meri Li (Alina Starkov), Ben Barnes (General Kirigan/The Darkling), Freddy Carter (Kaz Brekker), Amita Suman (Inej Ghafa), Kit Young (Jesper Fahey), and Archie Renaux (Maylen Orestsev) will be the main cast of Season 1.
The cast of Season 2 entirely depends upon how the plot unfolds in the first season, who stays up till the last episode, and who sacrifices his life in the plot. Since the Shadow and Bone Novel is based on the war orphan Alina Starkov, we can assume that Jessie Meri Li will be there in the second season.
