Will there be a Season 2 of Your Honor?

The American limited series, ” Your Honor ” has been on every binge-watcher’s list these days. Starring the Breaking Bad famed Bryan Cranston, the series revolves around a judge, Michael (Bryan) who uses his influence to cover his son’s accident. The series became an instant hit and is still widely popular.

Your Honor started airing on Showtime on 6th December 2020 and ended up after a 10-episode run on Valentine’s Day 2021. It is an adaptation of Israeli TV Series by the name of Kvodo. Is there more to the show since fans are waiting to watch what further unfolds for their favorite characters?

News About Season 2

Your Honor was announced as a limited series. Up till now, no news has surfaced on media regarding a potential Season 2 nor the makers or cast are spilling the beans regarding the future of the second season.

It is highly likely we might not get to see the story go further towards a second season. However, The Israeli Series, from which Your Honor is adapted, was renewed for the second season so there is more potential in the story that can take the series to season 2.

Also, the showrunner Peter Moffatt, indicated in a recent interview that he would be open to expanding the story further.

What Lies Ahead in Season 2?

We don’t know whether there will be a Season 2 or not but with the first season concluded we can always predict some theories. SPOILERS AHEAD from Season 1

The first season ended dramatically leaving the viewers in awe as they witness Adam shot dead in his father’s arms. Season 2 will probably continue from here where we might see Michael coping up with his son’s death and gear up for revenge.

The second season won’t be an easy walk for the judge because he also got involved in paths he shouldn’t have. So what lies ahead for the judge depends upon the renewal of the show for the second season

Who Will Return for Season 2?

Season 1’s cast involved Bryan Cranston (Michael Desiato), Hunter Doohan (Adam Desiato), Michael Stuhlbarg (Jimmy Baxter) and Hope Davis (Gina Baxter). These people will be probably returning for the second season.

However, Doohan’s character is dead so we might not see him in the season except for some flashback scenes. The creators can’t easily cut him off the show so we can expect some flashbacks. Other recurring casts that may return include Sofia Black-D’Elia, Isiah Whitlock Jr., Lilli Kay, and much more

Critical Acclaims:

Bryan broke bad with his performance as Michael Desiato in the series. He was praised by the fans and critics since the first episode and made up to Golden Globes 2021 Nomination.

Sadly, Bryan lost to Mark Ruffalo who took the award for Best Actor in a Limited Series or TV Movie category. Better Luck Next Time Bryan!

What’s Next?

The rising popularity of the show may lead the creators to give a green signal for a second season. Till then we’ll have to wait for an official announcement.
