Where Can I Watch My Hero Academia?

Izuku Midoriya will be coming on our screens soon. Yes, the release dates of Season 5 are announced and fans can’t wait to watch their favorite anime on screen again after a year’s gap. My Hero Academia last concluded it’s Season 4 in April 2020 and the creators announced the fifth season in the same month in the 18th issue of Weekly Shounen Jump.

The fifth season of My Hero Academia will premiere on 27th March 2021. My Hero Academia hails millions of fans around the world. It is considered one of the most popular anime in the world, one that every weeb must have watched.

The story revolves around Izuku Midoriya, a boy with no superpower but dreams to become a superhero one day. The plot involves the effort of Midoriya in surpassing his limits to achieve his goal in a world where 80% of the population has abilities (quirks) due to certain reasons.

How Many Trailers of My Hero Academia Season 5 have been Released?

The first trailer was released in October 2020, the second in December 2020, and the final one in February 2021. The trailers gave us a few hints regarding the storyline of Season 5. More Class 1-B heroes, two classes in action, Shinso reappears were the few major plots that were hinted at in the trailers.

What Plot can Fans Expect from My Hero Academia Season 5?

Season 4 ended with Izuku Midoriya’s dream where he witnesses all the deceased holders of One for All. He snaps out of it and loses control of his powers, eventually, messing up his room. Season 5 will probably catch up from where Season 4 ended and reveal the story of One for All.

Furthermore, following the hints through the trailer, it seems like the fifth season will focus more on the U.A. High School and its students where we may witness an arc surrounding the battle between classes 1-A and 1-B.

Since Shinso will be reappearing, we can guess that he will also be taking part in the battle through each side to become the hero he has been dreaming of. There will be intense battles, more mysterious powers for Midoriya, and new threats.

Where to Watch My Hero Academia Season 5?

Like every other anime episode releasing weekly, you can watch My Hero Academia Season 5 on Crunchyroll, Hulu, and Funimation. Hulu and Crunchyroll are monthly paid services while Funimation is free but with ads rolling in between; its paid versions are ad-free.

You can easily tune into a sub as for a dub episode you’ll have to wait for a few days of the initial release. However, if you are a binge-watcher then you’ll have to wait until it finishes and add another platform to your list: Netflix. Netflix currently has all four seasons of the series available to stream. So, the fifth will also be uploaded on it soon as it is finished.
